Picture This!

Results of the Canvases Workshop are now in…..   They all turned out beautiful and so different. With the permission of my friend Cath, here are the canvases she created of her daughters: photo-77 photo-78     Of course it helps to have kids as cute as hers to work with 😉 My friend Machiko made a set of small canvases for grouping together on the kitchen wall, showing her little boy in various stages of “helping out” in the kitchen. It is the sweetest set of images I’ve seen for a kitchen!  Other canvases included a sepia tones image of a couple on the beach and a sunrise shot of  a son and new daughter-in-law on the beach. Both show timeless beauty.   I can’t wait to try more of these canvases myself. They are so quick and easy as gifts as well: portrait for a hostess,  new baby for the nursery, new couple for their engagement, …the list is endless.  I especially like the small canveses grouped together as a set, with the same subject in different poses, from different angles, experimenting with Sepia tone and black and white images as well.
