In Love with Balloon Ride

From the first moment I saw the new Spring/Summer idea book I fell in love with the Balloon Ride papers. The muted peach, brown and blue colors and the whimsical hot air balloons really caught my fancy, and they are perfect for travel photos as well as upcoming Cherry Blossom and Easter photos.

I went a bit crazy in designing a total of 12 pages from a single paperback!!!   (with lots of added card stock and bulk B&T papers).

Make an Impression with Embossing!

Now that CTMH has a line of five fun embossing folders, I’ve enjoyed playing around with various embossing techniques and designing these 6 embossed cards:

Go Digital in March – Try it, You’ll Like it!

No kidding!  During March, Close To My Heart’s Studio J 2-page 12″ x 12″ layouts are only $5.  That’s a steal.

Did you know that statistics show that most scrapboookers spend about $9-$10 per 2-page traditional layout they create? That includes paper, embellishments, photo developing, etc.  So, at $5 per 2-page digital layout you are saving some serious dinero! That’s almost a $2 savings per layout from our regular price.

PLUS, you don’t even have to be a scrapbooker to use Studio J.  You just have to be someone with photos who wants to preserve them beautifully for their family.  It’s THAT EASY!  In fact, if you just want to order large or odd size prints of your photos, Studio J is the easiest and most economical way to do it.  You can get an 8×10, two 5×7’s, a 6×7, a 5×6, two 4×5’s, and four 2×3’s, to use on your conventional layouts, all for $5!   All Studio J layouts are top quality prints on photographic paper.

To try out Studio J, just head to the Studio J Page on my website. It’s absolutely FREE to play and build layouts…and it’s SO SIMLE AND USER FRIENDLY. Play around with your layouts, try out different color combinations and embellishments until you’ve got just the look you want and then use your digital image to create your layouts in conventional scrapbooking. You don’t pay a single penny unless you choose to purchase a print of your layout. If you do,  then be sure to purchase in March to to get that $5 price.  On April 1, it’s back to $6.95.

What do you get for $5 per layout?

  • Your 2-page 12″ x 12″ layout
  • 1 high resolution .jpg file of each page. This way you can print more at a later date if you want to. This is emailed to you after you place your order
  • 1 lower resolution .jpg file of the 2 pages together (like you see here in this post). This is great for posting online for friends and family members to see. This is also emailed to you after you order.

If you have questions or would like a FREE Studio J 30 minute training session with me, I’m at your beck and call (mariefarson@juno.com, 571-276-5405).  I’ve shared 2 of my Studio J layouts here today (one above and one below). Enjoy!
