Isn’t this an adorable card by Melanie Brown?  I thought I would share it with you.  Love the watercolor/paint look that she used to create the mass of color. So pretty!

I love the artwork that I found created by a fellow CTMH consultant Julie Carriere and wanted to share the “Party Theme” idea.  Stinkin’ cute for sure!

When I get some of my own artwork created (a little behind right now), I’ll post them too. Sock monkey 1But I thought I would share the some of the best ARTWORK and get the ball rolling for February.  I just love Margi Gilbertson’s fun idea with the sock monkey. The monkey is paper pieced with two monkey balloons stamped on Colonial White cardstock; one in Desert Sand ink and one in Chocolate ink.  She cut out the entire Chocolate monkey and just the feet and face of the Desert Sand image and attached the pieces with the fab CTMH Glue Pen!  Love that glue!  The hat is a 1/2″ circle out of Bamboo cardstock and trimmed.  She painted his mouth with red Watercolor Paint and his eyes are Bitty Sparkles colored with the ShinHan Touch Twin Black Marker.  All the outlining is done with the Journaling Pen.  The little Red Enamel Gems put the finishing touch on the monkey’s hat and scattered around the card!
